MTV Video Music Awards – Lady Gaga räumt ab – Justin Bieber der beste Neue

Na, da hat die heiße Lady Gaga bei den diesjährigen MTV Video Music Awards aber abgeräumt. Und heiß wwaren auch die Kostüme ihrer mehrmaligen Auftritte bei der gestrigen Show. Die ihr heute abend, Montag auf MTV im Fernsehen anschauen könnt.
Lady Gaga übertraf sich in der Nacht auf Montag bei den 27. MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles einmal mehr, sowohl in der Outfit- als auch der Abräumerkategorie: Sie nahm insgesamt acht der begehrten Moonmen-Statuen mit nach Hause, darunter als Auszeichnung in den Kategorien “Video Of The Year”, “Best Dance Video”, “Best Pop Video” und “Best Female Video.”
Lady GaGa sorgte wieder mit sensationellen Outfits für Aufsehen, wechselte dreimal das Kleid und nahm den Hauptpreis in einem Fleischdesign entgegen, das auch Cher staunen ließ. Diese durfte Lady Gaga den Preis für das Video des Jahres überreichen. „Ich hätte mir niemals träumen lassen, dass ich hier stehen und Cher meine Fleichhandtasche halten würde“, sagte Gaga in ihrer Dankesrede.
Ein weiterer Gewinner des Abends war Eminem, der in den Kategorien Best Male und Best HipHop für sein Video zu Not Afraid ausgezeichnet wurde. Der Rapper eröffnete die MTV Video Music Awards 2010 mit einer grandiosen Performance von Not Afraid und seiner aktuellen Hitsingle Love The Way you Lie, bei der Rihanna zu ihm auf die Bühne kam. Taylor Swift und Kanye West waren ebenfalls live auf der Bühne zu sehen und stellten ihre neuen Songs vor, die sich thematisch mit der MTV-VMA Kontroverse des letzten Jahres auseinandersetzten, als West in Swifts Dankesrede hineinplatzte.
Justin Bieber trat zum ersten Mal bei den VMAs auf und performte auf einer Außenbühne “Baby” und “Somebody to Love”, während die Jungs von Linkin Park ihre aktuelle Single “The Catalyst” im Griffith Oberservatory vor der Kulisse eines atemberaubenden Sonnenuntergangs zum Besten gaben.
