Arctic Monkeys have just announced that their fourth album Suck It and See is released on 6 June this year. In this connection the British band goes on a short tour where they will play smaller venues than usual.
Roskilde Festival is co-arranger of the two Scandinavian concerts that take place in the following days:
- 5 May – Stockholm, Circus (presented together with Luger)
- 6 May – Oslo, Sentrum Scene (presented together with Goldstar)
Working with music year-round
Roskilde Festival works in the name of music year round. While we are waiting for this year’s festival, this British star band delivers the entertainment.
”Normally our focus is 100 % on preparing for the festival, but when something this good is on offer we can’t help but accept. We have previously presented Arctic Monkeys at Roskilde Festival in 2006 and 2007 – and we want to support this mini tour that appeals to many of our audiences in all of Scandinavia,” says music director at Roskilde Festival, Rikke Øxner.
